In Vedic Astrology, we do no use the outer planets
Uranus, Neptune
and Pluto. There are many reasons
given as one being that these planets have only recently
been discovered with Pluto being found in the solar system
as late as the 1940's. The Vedic theory
is that there is not enough transitory
information as of yet to include the presence of Pluto,
Neptune and Uranus, as Pluto has not
even
transited through the twelve houses
and signs since being discovered.
The other theory which is by
far the most important is that by adding
the additional planets into the planetary system of vedic
astrology would disrupt the basic philosophy of the vedic
system which has a mystical harmonic connection with the
nine inner planets that includes Rahu
and Ketu. The disruption would
include sign rulerships as well as difficulties in assigning
the Mooltrikona houses to planets as
well as the disruption with the numerous Harmonic
charts. The sequence would be broken with the
addition of the outer planets.
It is this Astrologers view though that
consideration must be given to the outer planets Uranus,
Neptune and Pluto due to the transit affects I have seen
over the years. Mostly I consider the aspects of the conjunction,
square and opposition as I have seen the damage or disruption
these planets have caused time after time to individuals
during these transits. Vedic Astrologers can often enough
give another analogy that is seen in the vedic chart which
can make sense. I still feel the energy and influence
of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto has to be looked at and considered
to some degree if even as a casual observer.
